A framework to measure the success of change management projects

Create an effective framework to measure your change management effort by using a simple, three-part framework. I found this wonderful infographic from the book Susan Miller – Implementing strategic decisions. Four key success factors in organization studies.  The key points are:

  1. Organise the change success metrics into three categories:  completion, achievement, and satisfaction. This will ensure that you take a broad view of the effectiveness of the change effort.
  2. It is recommended that you use a range rather than a single point to determine change success. It is not common to achieve perfection, but progress is often quite achievable.
  3. There are so many change measurement options and you can get overwhelmed by the tools and too much data. Start simple, stay consistent and build your change measurement competency over time.

What do you do to measure the success of your change management projects?
